Yes, it's been a while since we've last posted. According to our tracker, one or two of you have been checking our site, so apparently we're not completely dead.
We have done quite a bit since coming back although nothing is terribly exciting. We've made pickles, gone camping in NY, attended a beautiful wedding in St. Louis, eaten a watermelon we grew in the garden (it was disgusting, but Rachel's parents also had one and they said it was excellent), attended a LaRocca cousin's weekend (woo!), made blueberry/raspberry jam (which is great on crepes), done a few short hikes (and more recently some longer ones), I bought dress shoes, we're taking a dance class on Monday nights, and we're both training for a 5k charity run for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. Donations are encouraged.
Here's Rachel's page, and
here's mine.
We're thoroughly enjoying having a kitchen again. And we're learning how to use our grill (and we learned the difference between grilling and barbecuing). Rachel's tests are coming up next week, and at the end of October I'm attending a hiring seminar for a local wilderness therapy program, True North.
Enough. Enjoy.
